Political tax credits make donating easier. It allows you to give more. The Provincial Tax Credits are not a deduction against your income but a real credit against your tax payable.

Provincial Tax Credit Rate

75% of donations up to $372

50% of donations between $372 and $1,240

33 1/3% of donations over $1,240

Maximum annual individual contribution to provincial party $9,300
Minimum annual donation to the Ontario NDP is $25 for employed people or $5 for youth and the unwaged
