"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.
"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.
"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’
"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."
Murray Gaudreau is a community leader who fights hard for the rights of farmers, workers and small business owners. Born and raised in Romney Township, Murray is a fourth generation family farmer who joined the National Farmers’ Union in 1991, served many years on its board, and continues to serve as a member today.
Murray is passionate about improving Ontario’s agricultural sector, but his community service extends far beyond farming issues. He is a past volunteer with Tilbury’s Information and Help Centre, the Chatham-Kent Environmental Alliance, and the AIDS Committee of Windsor (which he served as vice-president). Murray also helps raise money for the Fred Victor Centre Gala Committee in Toronto, which helps the homeless.
Murray learned the importance of public service, and got to know local issues first-hand, when he worked for two former area MPPs: Pat Hayes and Ellen MacKinnon. For the past several years, he has developed a career within the Ministry of Education. Now, Murray wants to put his extensive job and volunteer experience to work on behalf of working families in his community, by serving as the next MPP for Chatham-Kent-Essex.
