"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.
"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.
"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’
"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."
Lynda McDougall has always been proud to stand up for Dufferin-Caledon’s working families.
As a teacher for 27 years and Vice-President of the Upper Grand Elementary Teachers Federation, Lynda understands the concerns of everyday people. She understands that for young families, Dalton McGuinty’s failure to fix the education funding formula is a real worry.
As the NDP candidate in the 2005 by-election in the old riding of Dufferin-Peel-Wellingon-Grey, Lynda doubled the vote that the NDP received in the previous general election. Encouraged by this response, Lynda looks forward to running as the NDP candidate for the riding and giving a voice to issues dear to the community.
