Biography:

"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.

"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.

"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’

"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."

As a Health Care aide at Allendale Home in Milton for thirty years and as Co-Chair of the OPSEU Provincial Long Term Care Sector, Pat Heroux has become intimately familiar with the issues affecting seniors who live in Ontario long term care homes.

Pat served as the President, Secretary and Chief Steward at OPSEU Local 261 in Milton, and is committed to providing real solutions to the problems affecting long term care homes and ensuring that residents receive the care they deserve.

Pat is a proud mother of five and a grandmother of eight. She looks forward to fighting for Ontario’s working families with unbridled energy and enthusiasm as the NDP candidate for Halton.
