As Waterloo Labour Council President, Rick Moffitt is fighting to help workers hit hard by the manufacturing job crisis in Kitchener and throughout Ontario.
Rick is an elementary school teacher and minor hockey coach. He knows how important strong schools and community programs are for working families and their children, which is why he helped establish the Child Care Action Network and the Waterloo Regional Health Coalition to promote community awareness.
Rick and his wife Lucia Santamaria have two sons, James and Lucas.
