"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.
"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.
"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’
"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."
Kitchener-Conestoga
Since moving to Kitchener as a teenager Mark Cairns has been active in his community. An avid hockey and baseball player, and a strong supporter of the local music and arts scene, Mark is committed to standing up for the working families he meets and talks to every day.
As a service sector employee Mark knows how hard it can be to make ends meet, and he knows that Dalton McGuinty has let working families down by failing to take action on a living minimum wage and on the jobs crisis affecting our manufacturing sector.
Mark is committed to standing up for the working families of Kitchener-Conestoga, and fighting for a fair deal. He is looking forward to representing them in the NDP caucus at Queen’s Park and fighting for real issues that matter.
