"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.
"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.
"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’
"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."
Bonnie Bryan has lived her whole life in the Niagara Region. Born and raised in Welland, she has lived in Jordan with her husband Jim for the last 20 years, and is committed to standing up for the working families of her community.
A retired teacher and principal who worked in our schools for 30 years, Bonnie is intimately familiar with the crisis affecting our public education system. She knows that because of Dalton McGuinty’s broken promise to fix the school funding formula, schools are deteriorating, programs like special education, art and music don’t have enough resources and parents are forced to fundraise for the most basic classroom necessities.
Active in her profession and local community, Bonnie has been involved with the Federation of Women Teachers of Ontario and is a founding member of the Ontario Principals Council. Bonnie is also active as a member of her local YMCA advisory committee, she is the secretary of the local chapter of the Retired Teachers of Ontario and has coached and convened youth sports programs in schools and in the community throughout Niagara for the past 30 years.
Bonnie is looking forward to representing the working families of her community as the next MPP for Niagara West-Glanbrook.
