From her work as a staff lawyer at the Renfrew County Legal Clinic, to child poverty advocate and volunteer, Felicite Stairs has been there for Renfew-Nipissing-Pembroke.

Felicite has deep roots in the area. She has lived in Burnstown since 1992 and traces her roots in the valley back to her ancestor Philemon Wright, one of the original settlers.

Felicite is a founding member of the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network, and has worked with low income families to develop the Families in Need Directory, as well as the Renfrew County Coalition Against Poverty. She has worked to develop the Communities Against Poverty Project and sits on the board of the Community Resource Centre (Killaloe).

Felicite is also an active member of the Renfrew Food Bank, the MacNamara Field Naturalists Club and the Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church in Renfrew.

If elected on October 10th, Felicite promises to be a strong voice for her community’s working families.
