A 30 year resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Jeff Arbus is a committed and active member of the community. An effective trade unionist and educator, Jeff is the President of OPSEU Local 613.
Aside from his involvement with OPSEU as a local president and member of two provincial collective bargaining teams, Jeff has a long history of involvement with local organizations and charities.
Jeff has been active on the School Council at Korah Collegiate and is a leader in his faith group at the Congregation Beth Jacob. He has also been a board member of the Algoma Children’s Aid Society, a member of the Community Advisory Committee for Gord Saunders House (a young offenders group home), and has developed programs and policies for numerous community service organizations.
Jeff is also a talented sax player with the local band The Reptiles and has appeared in a number of local theatrical productions.
Jeff is committed to offering his many talents to the working families of Sault Ste Marie and is looking forward to representing them as the next MPP at Queen’s Park.
