"It’s time working families got a fair deal. Dalton McGuinty’s record has been one broken promise after another. But he still found time to give himself a $40,000 pay raise. That’s someone who has lost touch with working families. We deserve better.
"I’m proud to stand with Howard Hampton – a leader who is upfront, honest, and principled. You know you can count on us to stand up for seniors, children, parents, and working people.
"This time, ask yourself ‘Which leader and party can I count on to fight for a fair deal for working families?’
"I hope I can count on your support on October 10."
Jim Foulds understands first-hand the challenges faced by Northern Ontario’s forestry sector. For 32 years, he worked at the Norampac paper mill in Red Rock, while raising three kids with his wife Helen and serving as President of his CEP local. When the mill was shut down last fall, he was forced to switch jobs and head to Nipigon, where he now works at Brennen Ford.
Jim is running to be the next MPP for Thunder Bay-Superior North so he can fight further mill closures, and help make Northern Ontario a more stable region for working families. He has a great record of community service, as Chair of the Nipigon Fall Fishing Festival for the past ten years, and Past President (and life member) of the Nipigon Curling Club.
If you elect Jim on October 10th, he promises to stand up at Queen’s Park and get a fair deal for Northern Ontario.
