Rick Morelli is a successful businessman with a strong record of standing up for working families. In 1999, Rick decided to leave politics to pursue business opportunities. He is now the successful co-owner of several pharmacies, including Rutherford Guardian and First Place Pharmacy.
Rick was first elected as a trustee in 1988 on the Metropolitan Separate School Board in the former City of North York. In 1991, he joined the staff of former MPP and cabinet minister Tony Silipo, where he served at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Community and Social Services. From 1993 to 1999, Rick served as the executive assistant to city councillor Maria Augimeri.
Rick and his wife Carmela have lived in the city of Vaughan for nine years and are the proud parents of two boys. Rick is a dedicated parent, an experienced politician, and is looking forward to running against Finance Minister Greg Sorbara as the real choice for Vaughn’s working families.
