Ontario Legislature set to debate NDP Bill to allow inclusionary zoning

On Thursday, September 24, the Ontario legislature will debate Bill 198, a private member’s bill tabled by NDP MPP Cheri DiNovo that would allow municipalities in Ontario to tackle the Housing crisis currently plaguing Ontario.

Dans son premier discours prononcé devant l’Association des municipalités de l’Ontario, Andrea Horwath, la chef du Nouveau Parti démocratique de l’Ontario, a vertement critiqué le plan économique des libéraux de Dalton McGuinty. En vertu de ce plan malavisé, les familles ontariennes payeront plus de taxes de vente et le trésor public sera privé des fonds pour réaliser les investissements qui sont critiques pour les municipalités.
