NDP MPP Paul Miller today brought his Bill 6, An Act to Amend the Employment Standards Act (Wage Security) 2007, to the Committee on General Government to establish hearing dates for public deputations.

Today, New Democrats are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Donald C. MacDonald, a truly remarkable man.

Ontario has lost a great Ontarian and New Democrats have lost a great leader. Donald was a rare individual whose legacy has many aspects, but the most enduring were his strength, integrity, irrepressible optimism and humanity. Much of what Ontarians enjoy today is a result of the work of Donald C. MacDonald.

“November 11th is Remembrance Day. It’s a day when Canadians pay tribute to the sacrifices of brave women and men of the armed forces and civilians in times of war.

NDP Leader Howard Hampton officially launched the NDP’s 2007 provincial election campaign this morning. Speaking in front of Queen’s Park, Hampton outlined the NDP’s vision for the coming weeks.
